Ty Taylor has been building things since before building things was a brand strategy. Raised on the blueprint of her grandmother — a self-made entrepreneur who showed her what it looked like to bet on yourself — Ty learned early that the only ceiling that exists is the one you stop questioning.
Over 16 years in the entrepreneurial space, she's worn every hat: relationship blogger featured in major national publications, radio show host, wig company founder who served women through illness and transformation, and a YouTube hair influencer who helped thousands of women own their look — natural, relaxed, or styled. Each chapter was different. The throughline was always the same: show up boldly, serve deeply, and never shrink.
Apparel was never an afterthought — it was the destination. In 2017, Ty launched her first clothing line. By February 2020, Tahylor Made Apparel was reborn: sharper, bolder, and built with intention. What started as a personal creative outlet became a cultural statement brand rooted in Black identity, self-expression, and the kind of humor that hits because it's true.
As an introvert, Ty built Tahylor Made for people who don't need to be the loudest in the room — because their shirt already said it. Every graphic, every phrase, every drop is designed to do the talking for you.
Before Tahylor Made was a brand, Ty spent 14 years as a Business Account Manager — mastering the art of listening, problem-solving, and delivering. That foundation isn't background noise.
