Ty Taylor, the visionary behind Tahylor Made Apparel, is a passionate advocate for cultural representation, self-expression, and, as an introvert, creating a brand that speaks for those who prefer to let their style do the talking. Growing up, Ty sought the guidance of her grandmother, an entrepreneur who inspired Ty’s dream of becoming her own boss.

With over 16 years in the entrepreneurial space, Ty’s journey has been diverse. She once owned a successful relationship blog, which earned her features in major magazine publications. She also hosted a relationship radio show, started a wig company that serviced many—including cancer patients—and became a hair influencer on YouTube, helping women care for natural, relaxed, and styled wigs. But her passion for apparel had always been in the back of her mind.

In 2017, Ty launched her first apparel line, and after a rebrand to Tahylor Made Apparel in February 2020, the brand quickly gained traction. Her mission is to provide top-notch customer service while delivering high-quality apparel that resonates with individuality. With 14 years of experience as a Business Account Manager, Ty’s expertise in customer service and problem-solving is foundational to the brand’s success.

Inspired by her introverted nature and a desire to create clothing that empowers others, Ty has built Tahylor Made Apparel to reflect empowerment, humor, and contemporary relevance. Each piece is a bold statement of individuality, proving that you don’t need to speak loudly to be heard.
